December is possibly one of our favourite months of the year. (We love Jan, August, Sep too!) Because… Christmas is around the corner! Woohoo~ #wewelcomeallsortsofchristmaspresent #pleasesendthemourway Awesome mummy decided to kickstart celebrations a tad early by getting us Advent Calendars from Barking Good! #dontaskmewhatanadventcalendaris #thisismyfirsttimehearingaboutit #butgotfoodwhocares Thank you Auntie Dionne for delivering them to our doorsteps. #wepaidherwithtailwags Most of our stuff are in storage, hence, the pathetic setup.  #lifesuckslivingoutofsuitcases Anyway, we did what most people would do and googled the term “advent calendar”. Turns out that it’s a special calendar to count the days in anticipation to X’mas! A ride in a beetle

We were invited by Volkswagen Singapore to take one of their cars for a test drive. Although our trusty Gin has been pretty reliable for the past year, Mummy was more than glad to ditch him for the weekend for a sleeker ride. #soheartlesshor Hence, there was no way we could even refuse the offer! #mummyisindeedcheapo We stopped by the showroom to pick up our ride and also took the opportunity to ‘mark’ our territory around the vicinity. HEHEHEHEHE #sorrynotsorry Our shallow Mummy was blown away the moment our ride drove up.  But to be honest, it was difficult not to be. We’ve reviewed treats and services, but certainly not poop bags. Hence, when Auntie Sue Ann dropped Mummy an email about reviewing QuickGrab Fragranced Dog Litter Disposal Bags, she just couldn’t say no! #mummyisacheapola #anythingfreeshealsowant I guess it’s always fun to try something different out. #ifyougiveusfreecupcakeswewillreviewANYTHING As a pup, I used to have a habit of eating poop.  Not my own poop, but other dog’s.  And I loved mine fresh out of the ‘oven’. We were very honoured to be invited by Auntie QY to test out a basic grooming session at Ohiyo Pets. By a huge stroke of luck, I completed my second paying gig (hehehe..secret for now) yesterday! Keeping us busy

We know how pesky Jack Russells can be. #wearenotcalledjackrussellterrorsfornothing It is a constant fight for Mummy to keep us out of trouble.  Despite weekly swims and multiple walks daily, we do still give Mummy dirty looks to express our boredom once in a while. #entertainusorelse #thedeathstare #yeswearejudgingyou That being said, combating our boredom is no easy feat. In fact, it’s a major headache for Mummy.   Pecan and I are polar opposite.  I am really smart. And I mean REALLY smart. Dog-friendly Smoothie

We’re dying from the heat. #whysohot #twodeaddogslyingonthefloor After seeing how lethargic we are, she decided to whip up some smoothie! #mummyisdabest #weapprove #tonguesofapproval Our dog-friendly Mango-Strawberry Smoothie! Here’s what we need: One whole mango (cut into cubes and toss the pit away) A box of strawberry (Freeze it overnight to make the smoothie ice-cold when served) A cup of plain yoghurt One teaspoon of honey (optional, especially if your mango isn’t ripe enough) Did you know? Mangoes are actually good for dogs (source)! But be careful to keep the pit away from us and feed in moderation. #yummyfoodthatisdogfriendlyisdabest What to do: Simply toss everything into a blender and blend blend BLEND. #easybreezy Giving the sniff test. #pecandoesnotcare #shejustwantstodrink #samthefaketastetester Off we went! So our fish craving is back and we just couldn’t resist checking our Fuzzyard pet fish, Sushi, out.  Not in a good way in case you’re wondering. #nowondermummynowanttogetusapethamster #nopetissafeinthishousehold Of course, Sushi was pretty much sweating it out. #hownottopanicwhenyouhavetwohungrydogsstaringatyou And as usual, our dearest Mummy came to his (and our tummies’) rescue by announcing that she has delectable fish treats for us. Wheeeeeeeeeee…. #mummyisdabest Okay la, we shall leave you alone Sushi….for now. HEHEHEHEEHHEEH What she didn’t mention, however, was that I had to put on the hideous fish head for the shoot. Anyway, some of you may know that our dearest Pecan ah ma went for a dental scaling recently.  We knew that Pecan ah ma’s scaling was due. But Mummy was rather hesitant as she really did not want to put Pecan under anaesthesia if possible. However, after consulting with as many as four different vets, Mummy got the consensus that the procedure was a necessity. Oh well~  So in ah ma went. (And out went $1.2k from Daddy’s pocket!) Pecan isn’t the most cooperative pooch at the vet (she’s a pain like me!).  #likebrotherlikesister #cannotletthevetbullyuslor So during the initial consultation, Mummy was told that at least three teeth needed to be extracted. There might be more, just that the vet couldn’t tell as of then. But what Mummy didn’t expect was that these many teeth had to go…. YAP, they all belonged to Pecan. #toothfairyisgonnabebroke In case you’re wondering how many came out….
