Sam’s Pick: Dr Bronner 18-in-1 Pure Castile Soap

We should have known better when Mummy suddenly allowed us to get muddy and dirty on our day out. #shealawayshassomethinguphersleeves #mummybullyusagain Yap, she had her agenda. Introducing the Dr Bronner‘s line of organic soaps.  #letusoutoftheshower Auntie Christina, from Nature’s Glory, dropped us an email to see if we were interested to try out Dr Bronner’s Pure Castile Liquid Soaps. She shared about how the soap benefitted her puppy, Koko, who was suffering from fur loss caused by allergies to showering foam and dairy products.  #socute Upon seeing how well it worked for Koko, Mummy was quite intrigued.  The thing was, unlike Koko, Pecan and myself really do not have any skin issues. New Year Resolutions 2017

Our very first Christmas tree!

Mummy had always wanted a X’mas tree since she moved out. For the first year, she was too busy with her wedding prep (and probably extremely broke) to get one. For the second year, she was too busy with her move to NYC to get one. And for year 3, yours truly (aka Sam) came along and turned her world upside down. Mummy is getting a tad bored of our boring grey wall and how it’s showing in our photos. To spruce our shots up, she decided to get crafty! #wethinkshehastoomuchtimeonherhands A quick trip to Art Friend and she was ready to get crafting. #wecanhelpbutyoumustpayintreats #mummycannotsaynotothesefacesone A couple of hours in… and wala~ #howcomeitlookslikeprimaryschoolkidswork To be honest, while Mummy is quite fond of scrapbooking and stuff, she really isn’t the most artistic person around.  #notevenclosecan So to be safe, she got tree and cloud templates off the internet. And since our printer is kaput, she had to use baking sheet to trace them out before drawing them onto coloured paper. #cheapoislikethatone #havetoimprovise Presenting our new backdrop! Mummy’s tip: Use Blue-tac to secure the items to the background. This will allow you to shift the trees and clouds around as you deem fit. The Optivizor! #dangwhydoesitreallysoundlikesomesuperhero While the optivizor doesn’t give us super powers (what a disappointment), it does something pretty impressive too. It protects our eyes from the damaging UV rays! We were first contacted by Auntie Jeannie who introduced this to Mummy. The very sweet lady noticed that Pecan’s eyes appeared to have cataracts in some of the photos. #sheisabsolutelyright #mummyhaslousyphotoshopskills #shedoesnotevenbothertocoverthatup To help manage Pecan’s cataracts (she is currently on long-term prescription eye drops), she offered us the Optivizors to review. #sothoughtfulandsweet To ensure that we got the right fit, Auntie Jeannie even arranged for her local counterparts from Bubble Pet Care to come by our place to fit us. Halloween is right around the corner and we’re looking forward to our party!
