While Pecan and myself don’t really hold a job, we do enjoy participating in some commercial works now and then! Besides, to be honest, most of the time even when we’re working, it feels like play anyway!
So here’s a glimpse of the projects we took part in!
My debut at Pets Magazine!
I was in fact one of the resident models for quite a few issues of the magazine and this is Mummy’s personal favourite of all times!

Of course, when Pecan ah ma joined the brood, she was recruited into free dog labour.

Fun fact: We were the resident models for Pets Magazine for a year or so as Mummy was working there! That’s how we made our debut! While we were pretty much just a convenient choice (and not scouted), but I guess we needed to start somewhere!
Our Somersby advertorial on Fetch!

Fun Fact: Mummy had to attach a piece of treat to the end of the straw to get me to look as if I was sipping from the straw. Easy Peazy. It took just 1682216 tries.
Models for Ohpopdog‘s Let’s go collection’07
Thanks Auntie Z and Auntie G for giving us the opportunity to don this gorgeous collection!

Fun fact: Mummy loved the pics so much that she actually ‘stole’ a display pic that the owners at Ohpopdog were using at one of their pop-up stores.
We were really blessed that the OPD ladies loved us enough to invite us back for a second collection!

The shoot took place a week after we brought Pips home, she got roped in to make her debut too! Though the pictures didn’t the cut, we got it as keepsake!

And my biggest gig to date…Starhub’s latest Sparky. #Iamthethirdgeneration

Fun Fact: I had my very own makeup artist for the shoot! In case you’re wondering, the makeup they used was Bobbi Brown. Atas ya.
My parents thought I looked like a chikuwa though. Thanks ah. (Slide to see)

My first commercial for Starhub’s Homehub!
While I was enjoying the ride in the car, my parents were running up and down to get my attention. Ain’t easy being the pawrents of a ‘rising’ star.
Fun fact: My bark is far from being manly. They have to dub it to make me sound better.
My second commercial for Starhub’s Euro 2016 promo
Fun fact: Actually Starhub’s first pick was Pecan, as her markings were more similiar to the previous Sparkies. But Ah ma’s focus is probably as good as a goldfish, so they decided to go with me instead.
Woofer & Purrlensky’s Product Lifestyle shoot!
We are huge fans of Woofer & Purrlensky as the shop really reminded Mummy of New York. Plus, the shopkeeper is an awesome lady who we adore! Hence, it was a no brainer when she asked if we could be models for her gorgeous products!

Fun Fact: Mummy was away on a vacay during the time of the shoot, so we had to rely on Goddaddy KC to dogsit us during the shoot. It went pretty well we must say!
Pet Widget shoot!
Mummy did a short stint at Pet Widget and thus, Sam got roped in once again!

Fun Fact: It was Sam’s first time working with human models and it was as easy as ABC. Anything goes as long as there are treats!
Well, that pretty much sums up every thing we did! Unfortunately for Sherman and Shelly, our gigs dried up after they joined. Hence, they have nothing under their belts as of now. Maybe some day, we shall see. At least the bragging rights is still Sam’s and Pecan’s!
