A new shop in town – Woofer & Purrlensky

One of our only favourite friends, Latte (Yap, the Vanillapup) is turning four soon.  And we were cracking our brains thinking of what to get for her.  #actuallyonlymummyisthinking #wedon’treallycare Because, like us, Latte has pretty much everything she needs.  So, it is a real challenge getting her a present. I’m not really a huge fan of stuffed plush toys. Well, there was a time when destroying them was my life mission. Thankfully for Mummy, I had since outgrown that phase.  #removingstuffingnokickla #tooeasyuntilicannotbebotheredtodoit On the other hand, Pecan ah ma isn’t interested in them either. #sheonlyhaseyesforherlatexsheep Hence, Mummy really doesn’t bother buying us any. However, she recently found a type of plushie that got me going cray cray over it! It’s the ZippyPaws Burrows! It’s no secret that I am an hyper JRT and Mummy is on an active mission to find toys to keep me stimulated. #thatiswhysheisashopaholic The ZippyPaws Burrow toys are the perfect mental stimulation toys! Each set comes with a ‘den’…. And three squeaky critters (in this case, our favourite – mice)! The Secret Life of Pets Breakfast event at USS!

In conjunction with the release of the movie, “The Secret Life of Pets” in Singapore, Resort World Sentosa recently hosted a breakfast event in Universal Studios Singapore for pets owners and their pets. And Mummy managed to score us some tickets! WHEEEEEEEEEE The only catch was that only one dog was allowed per family.  Well, don’t feel too bad for Pecan ah ma as she was treated to a fruitful day at Wooga! As much as we were super excited about this event, it really was wayyy too early for me. Hence, my cannot-wake-up-in-the-morning face. Going Raw Rawr

We have been on a raw diet for the past few years. While we started mainly on commercial raw food, Mummy made the transition towards DIY raw over the last couple of months. For now, Mummy will purchase our proteins from the supermarket and that does restrict the types we eat. (We usually rotate between lamb, beef and chicken.) But thanks to Howlistic Life, we get to have a taste of Venison at affordable prices! #yeahforourcheapomummy Raw Rawr is made of free range, grass fed Venison from New Zealand. Not only does it include meat and heart, it also contains offals. #soconvenientcan The pre-packed portions are extremely easy to thaw (takes no more than twenty minutes) and really convenient to feed. Each portion weighs 50g and both me and Pecan gets two per day! #aperfectfitforlazymummy To ensure that our diet is balanced, Mummy does include supplements too. While we may not be the most sociable (or friendly) of dogs, we are very lucky to have been invited to many dog birthday parties. #thankyoufortoleratingus Each time, Mummy will flip the house upside down to find a post-it note or any decent card she can get her hands on at the last minute to scribble a well-wishes note to the birthday pooch. #soinsincerela #tsktsktsk That got her thinking.. why not create our very own personalised note card to thank our friends for inviting us! #shejustneedanexcusetoshoponlinela #poordaddy So she went on one of her favourite platforms – Fiverr to find an artist to translate her vision into actual note cards! Day at the beach!

It’s been a while since we shared photos of us having fun outdoors. So she decided to bring her camera along on our day out at Tanjong beach. Wheeeeee…. It’s a small doggie party! Yap, Juosta and Maneul from the Wooga gang came along too! #actuallyistheyinviteusone Oh and we met Li Bai the Spitz. #hisnamecrackedmummyup “Mummy, I hope you remember to bring my toy.” #addictedtorescuemissions Of course she did! Wondering where my usual helpless Monkey is? Well, Mummy, being the cheapo and lazy person she is, is against bringing the monkey to the beach. It’s too expensive to be swept away (when I give up) she says. Mummy is very particular about our day-to-day hygiene and health. One thing that she takes pride in, is how she manages to brush our pearly whites. Not just that.  She does it EVERYDAY. Religiously. #sheprobablywishesthatwecanbrushitourselves #sorrywedonothaveopposablethumbs PS: Ah ma got stinky breath, so I sit far far away. I started brushing my teeth when I was just a two month old puppy. We got busy with Mummy’s newest toy… a dehydrator! To be exact, it’s a Rommelsacher Automatic Dehydrator. This isn’t our first dehydrator. We used to have one that Mummy brought back from the states. Too bad for us, it gave way while it was chucked away in storage during our move. So, that gave Mummy a new reason to go shopping. #mouldyliao #mummyjustwantedareasontobuyanicerone There really isn’t many options for affordable dehydrators locally. Many of the meat dehydrators range in the high $700s.  #cannotaffordlor On the other hand, way cheaper ones are available on online stores. However, they don’t come with warranty and that kinda worries Mummy a little. Mummy loves me to the moon and back and would never push me away no matter what I do. Well, almost.  There is just one tiny little thing that will send her running away (and also pretty much empty the room in seconds) – my fart bombs. #yapIamsamthefartingmachine #myfartsarepotent #sorrynotsorry So when Uncle ZK from Platinum Pets dropped us a message to find out if we were keen to give Ewegurt a shot, Mummy jumped at it without any hesitation. #anythingthatcanresolvethewaytoofrequentfartbombsplease Mummy has been giving us yoghurt as an occasional treat for a while now.  While Pecan ah ma does great on it, the store bought yoghurt results in runny poops and (to mummy’s horror) added potency to my ‘almost-fatal’ bombs.  #Isecretlylikethatactually So, Mummy was keeping her fingers crossed that Ewegurt would do the opposite – help settle my sensitive tummy while providing probotics to help with my digestion. #butIlikemyfartbombsleh We were quite surprised when the packaging arrived.
