Our pick for Stalker Mummy – the Petzi

We already warned you that Mummy is on a shopping spree this month. For Christmas she said. (Remember?) So after pampering herself with the Torus bowl, she coerced Daddy into getting her a Petzi Treat Cam. To check on us while she is at work she said. #morelikesatisfyherstalkingtendencies #poordaddyburnanotherholeinhispocket And without even waiting for Christmas, impatient Mummy got around to unwrapping her ‘present’. Tsk tsk tsk. Besides the Petzi camera, an extra simple instruction sheet (a bit too simple to be honest) and two packets of Milk-Bone treats for starters are also included! #sonicegiveustreats #welikeitalready Pecan ah ma thinks that she’s cuter than the Beagle. #nocomments The design of the Petzi is extremely simple and great for tech idiots like Mummy. All you have to do is remove the cover and pour treats into the hole. #pourMOREleh  The plug is an US two-headed plug, so an adapter is required.  Simply plug it in and follow the instructions for setup. The process is supposedly pretty painless. But for some weird reason, Mummy couldn’t get the Petzi …

Be a Foobler All stars!

Hehehe, if my Foobler review has tempted you to prove to your parents how clever you are, this is the deal for you! The kind people at Nekojam are offering Sam and Pecan ah ma’s fans (hehehe, it’s a bit embarrassing to say this, do I even have fans??) a discount of $5 for the purchase of the Foobler! #gooddealscannotmiss #laylonglaylong #Samsoundslikeanauntie Simply type in ‘SAMNPECAN’ during checkout and viola~ you just saved some $$.  Good luck and have a blast challenging and conquering Foobler!!  May you do better than Pecan ah ma did. =P PS: Feel free to donate the savings to my little belly if you want. oops. Mummy’s giving me the death stare now. I was just kidding la~ #mummyhasnosenseofhumour

Sam’s Pick: The Foobler

Those know me personally will agree that I am rather smart. Ho ho ho ho… #inotstupid On one hand, I would like to say it’s nature and genetics (but again, Ah ma kinda proved that wrong). On the other, it’s nurture.  Since I was a pup, Mummy has always challenged me to an array of dog IQ toys, and may I say, I got pretty good at them. #bhb #samwinspawsdown On the other hand, Pecan ah ma is stupid a little dense and doesn’t take too well to IQ toys. I guess she just doesn’t have the patience to get to the bottom of it. #lazyahma Hence, when the kind people at Nekojam asked if we would like to give their new interactive toy a test-run, I was totally up for it. As for ah ma, well, as long as there’s treats involved, she’s in. So we waited patiently until we finally got our paws on the…Foobler! For a start, we were quite taken aback by it’s size. It was a good five times bigger than my …

Pinku-chan the Octopus

Auntie JY bought us a new toy from Ju-be a few weeks ago! We decided to name it Pinku-chan! And yap, she’s a hand-knitted Octopus, made of toxic-free wool. We likey~  “Oh.. you mean Pinku is not my dinner?” Dang~ When I realized Pinku-chan was no calamari, I’ve to admit that I was a little disappointed. But thankfully Pinku-chan is really sporting and fun to play with. One of our favorite games is balancing her on our foreheads!! Pinku-chan also enjoys riding on me! Pecan ah ma is too wriggly for her.  Plus, my fat sturdy body is also great for Pinku-chan to rest on! We had a ball chasing her around the house.  It’s a pity that she is a little fragile and Mummy has to keep it away at times to prevent us for pulling a leg or two out. Thanks Auntie JY for our new toy pet!!

Simple happiness..

The simple joys in life do not always cost a lot.  While it’s undeniable that Mummy does spend ALOT on pampering us (and she can get brand cautious at times), not all our toys cost a bomb.  Following her ikea toy spree, Mummy brought home yet another cheap find from Tai Sing today – stuffed ball toys!!! She bought a total of six balls for just $4.90!  That’s less than a dollar each!  Actually, these toys are meant for kids. It wasn’t too much of a concern as what is safe for young children should be more or less safe for us. Besides, Mummy kept a close eye to prevent Sam, the toy destroyer us for spoiling them prematurely. NEW TOYS!!! Best of all, each toy comes with a bell and that just drove us crazy~~ Hence, playing fetch with it was awesome! We had our own, until Pecan decided that mine was better.  Boooo~ so I had no choice but to swap with her.  Nonetheless, we were of course, all smiles! Thanks Mummy for the …

Ikea toys!

Who says that expensive toys are the best?  Actually, cheap stuffies can be just as much fun! On a recent trip to Ikea, Mummy scooped up some soft toys (these were originally meant for human kids) for me!  Hooray!!! Cheap, they are. Lousy, they are NOT! In fact, I’m loving them!! Introducing Blue, the long dog. shhh, (whispers) I know he looks funny. Don’t tell him cos that will upset him! This is Polar Beary. Hee, this silly bear thinks that my off-white coat is snow! Maybe that’s why he kept wanting to rest on my back.  This is Snakie! He prefers to rest on the top of my hand.  But personally, I prefer him in my mouth.  *Nom nom nom* And my favourite of the lot (partly because it is the biggest too): Ratatouille! Catching (during a game of fetch) him is extremely satisfying. Well, my ancestors were afterall bred to hunt rats (though I’ve to admit that I’ve close to zero natural instincts left in my blood. haizzz). Nonetheless, the joy I get from …

The Green Mini Interactive Feeder!

Mummy brought home an interesting product recently.  I was quite fascinated by it and couldn’t quite figure out what it was exactly. It’s a toy… NO! it’s a bowl… NO! It’s a……  Green Mini Interactive Feeder! This specially designed feeder is shaped just like at tuft of grass (it consists of 32 grass-like blades). Besides acting as obstacles to prolong eating time, they make access to food complicated, making it challenging and possibly more interesting for the eater. I’m far from being a fast eater. While I gobble down treats like they are the best things on earth (wait, they are!), I approach my kibbles with a lot LESS enthusiasm. In fact, it’s always a struggle to get me to start eating, let alone get me to finish my food. Hence, Mummy thought that this would be a great toy to get me slightly more interested in my food since it will make my mealtime a fun and enjoyable activity! I’ve to admit that I was quite intrigued by it and couldn’t wait to test …

Shhhh.. Hear Doggy!

(Yet) Another awesome perk of Mummy’s internship (besides my free exposure on pets magazine) is that she is able to get her hands on new innovative toys!  So, on one lovely evening, Mummy came home with a grin. She came up to me and told me that she bought me a new toy! Of course, from the corner of my eye, I could see Daddy giving the “not again” face. Too bad for you, Daddy and goooooood for me! I was pretty excited to see what Mummy got for me. Presenting the surprise – a Hear Doggy! squeaky stuffy! I was uber excited about the starfish stuffy and could not wait to sink my teeth in it! I was 100% focused on my new mission in life – attack the starfish while it cries squeaks for mercy, kill the squeaker and remove all its stuffing!! RAWR…  Before I could even begin, I felt that there was something different about this squeaky toy.  In the past, each time Mummy squeezes the toy to squeak it, Daddy …

More from Amazon…

Part II of the Amazon Parcel finally arrived!  I was uber excited to check out what’s in it! Anxiously waiting.. When mummy finally opened it, I couldn’t wait to start sniffing out the contents! The first two items unveiled were disappointing, both to me and Mummy. I mean, I really don’t see why I would need yet another leash and collar (In the corner of my eyes, I see Daddy nodding away as I’m typing this sentence). To Mummy, the colours of the actual items weren’t quite what she was expecting. Based on the images on Amazon, she thought them to be of a more pastel orange, rather than neon orange. Hence, she was a little disappointed. A pity we are half way round the globe and returns are gonna cost more than the items are worth so we are both stuck with these. Boo~ Introducing the Lupine Dog Lead and Lupine Combo Dog Collar. On a side note, Mummy bought this collar as she wanted to get a martingale collar to replace my existing …
