Mummy and Daddy went shopping for a birthday presents today and along the way, they also stopped by Craftholic to buy each of our four cousins a small stuffy each. While looking around, one of the bunnies caught Mummy’s eye and she thought that it would suit Pecan perfectly! So she attempted to convince Daddy. Of course, his first reaction was ‘No’. Typical~ But after some persuasion, Daddy gave it and bought something for all the little girls in his life! Mummy – 2314231231 vs Daddy – 0 And when they brought it home, Pecan ah ma was over the moon! Fitting her small built like a T. She’s totally owning it. You think it’s the end of the story? Our newest toy – An Instax Share Printer!

So Mummy had her eyes on an Instax Share printer for a long loooong while. The only thing was that it was a little costly. And when she finally couldn’t take it anymore, she sent Daddy the link and requested for him to buy it for her as a gift. And that almost THREE weeks ago. Everyday for three weeks, Mummy would come home expecting a parcel for her.  But it never came. Why? Cos Daddy kept forgetting. Mummy would always end up disappointed and proceed to nag Daddy to buy it soon. Tsk tsk tsk “Daddy, how can like that?” *Disapproving looks* And when Mummy surprised Daddy with a PS4, he must have felt like shit and quickly got around to buying the printer. (See la~ Guilty then buy. PUI~) Within two days, the printer arrived! As usual, we were pretty excited whenever there’s a box! Can’t wait to find out what’s in it. Our lives through an iPhone – Our weekend!

It’s a pity weekends are so short. But just having two days isn’t going to stop us from having a fulfilling weekend! We started our Saturday at Grandmummy’s! Unfortunately, we also started on the wrong foot and got punished for being mischievous.  #notmyfault Wonder why?  Pecan ah ma was barking at the neighbor who just came home and I decided to join her on her rant.  Like that also got punished. Pui~ Thankfully, Mummy let us off after a quick lecture! Wheeee~ Pecan ah ma attempting to score brownie points by acting cute. As for me, I vented my anger (for being maligned) on Angry Bird! (which also happened to be ah ma’s favorite toy) Ho ho ho… When all was forgiven and forgotten, our parents whipped us away and brought us for a swim! Pity we got caught in the rain doing so. #soakedchicken It started raining cats and dogs and our parents had no choice but to end our weekly highlight earlier. When my parents moved to NYC, Mummy told Daddy that she wanted a dog. Without any hesitation, Daddy said yes. So here I am. When we moved back to Singapore, Mummy told Daddy that she wanted a SECOND dog. (So demanding hor~) Daddy said no for a while before he saw Pecan ah ma’s photo. Then he said yes, reluctantly. So here’s ah ma. After we got ah ma, Mummy told Daddy she wanted a cat.  (She is totally pushing her luck) Daddy said no. After a while, he remained a firm no. Of course Mummy didn’t give up. And when Auntie Charmaine rescued a little ginger kitty (lil’ Weasley), Mummy thought that it was time to try again using a different approach. This time, she needed me on her side.  So, on a fateful afternoon, she brought me to meet Weasley. A sweetheart he is, but an angel I am not. I adore public holidays that fall on weekdays. It’s like this lovely little treat for me and Pecan ah ma! Being the crazy obsessed dog parent Mummy is, of course most of such special occasions are devoted to the two adorable pooches. (Our resigned Daddy has no choice but to abide to Mummy’s demands) Wahahahhah! #myparentsaredogslaves So, I pretty much spent most of Good Friday (that was last week btw) getting quality massages from Daddy! A clearly satisfied customer. While Pecan ah ma spent her morning tormenting our new toy. Geesh, she looked so pleased with herself! Of course, we also took some time off to wish one of our favorite persons in the world… A VERY HAPPY Nth BIRTHDAY! We love you, GodMummy!!! Why can’t every Friday be a good friday? Boooo~

When Mummy broke her S3 on purpose, erm, accidentally, she knew she just had to get an iPhone again. And boy, I’m sure glad she did! Especially since, she has started using her iPhone to capture our week!  It’s quite difficult and certainly impractical to carry her DSLR everywhere she goes. Hence, it’s a real delight that she can now use her phone to capture moments that she might otherwise miss. Best of all, the images looked great (I mean the model plays a huge part too la~) and certainly blog-worthy!  So I was wondering, why not start a series of posts of our lives through an iPhone! #geniusSam Keep a lookout for short entries throughout the week to find out what mischief we have been up to! Made with Love – Carrot Juice and Yoghurt Pupsicles!!

Thanks to Mummy’s willingness to indulge us, we’ve come to expect something special every weekend. (Hee, yap, weekends are my cheat days k!) Like other Saturdays, we sat around restlessly waiting for something good to pop up in front of us. But unlike other weekends, half the day had passed and there was still no signs of anything spectacular! So, we decided to speak up for our rights and demand something from Mummy. Unable to resist our adorable faces, Mummy finally lifted her butt of the sofa (yes, we are all couch potatoes), walked into the kitchen and whipped out her new toy – Zoku’s Mini Pop Molds! She also took out a packet of Mixed Carrot Juice and some low-fat yoghurt. Within seconds, she was done! (Diao~ we couldn’t understand why she didn’t do it earlier! Especially since it was so easy!! Boooo~) Well, at least we got to lick the almost empty yoghurt cup clean! Forgiven~ By now, we were so excited and couldn’t wait for the real treat. Only to be told …

Made with Love – Bento for Dogs!

We were a little doubtful when Mummy offered to make us dinner. I mean, how not to after the traumatic incident of the jelly. The Apple Jelly ended up okay, but its appearance was an appetite killer.  Hence, we were a little wary about what to expect. But we did what she told us and collected our bento boxes and handed them to her.  The truth was… she is after all the hand that feeds us, so we LL (no other choice). We did feel a little bad when we realized how much effort Mummy went into planning this. Mummy, being a Daiso Auntie, actually went on a shopping spree just to purchase useless items to decorate our bento.  (Okay, now, we are seriously getting a little worried…) Just when we were becoming increasingly uncomfortable about Mummy’s dinner proposition, we discovered a faint light at the end of the tunnel.  And it came in the form of three lovely ladies!  Yap, Mummy’s awesome colleagues (including my beloved Mother-in-law) actually swung by to give Mummy a hand. …

Apple Jelly for dogs!

We know something was cooking when Mummy started cutting apples into cubes in the kitchen! Plus, she also took out her sam-sized cooking pot.  And we were right! Guess what’s on the menu…. It’s… APPLE JELLY FOR DOGS! Wheeeeeee~ You are probably wondering where she got the inspiration from… Mummy bought a dog jelly mould donkey years ago from Amazon (Most likely because she needed items to hit the minimum USD125 for free shipping). After it had collected dust for a good few months, she decided to finally put it into good use. (And we are not complaining!) (Source) A quick google and Mummy realized that there really isn’t any simple recipes for jellies for dogs. Hence, she decided to come up with one herself using whatever she could find in the kitchen. She used chicken stock, apples and gelatin.  Simple as that.  And it looks promising too!
