Those know me personally will agree that I am rather smart. Ho ho ho ho… #inotstupid On one hand, I would like to say it’s nature and genetics (but again, Ah ma kinda proved that wrong). On the other, it’s nurture.  Since I was a pup, Mummy has always challenged me to an array of dog IQ toys, and may I say, I got pretty good at them. #bhb #samwinspawsdown On the other hand, Pecan ah ma is stupid a little dense and doesn’t take too well to IQ toys. I admit. I’ve a slight phobia of Halloween. Whenever I hear that the day is approaching, I pee a little in my (invisible) pants. And the reason is totally man-made. You see, on my very first Halloween, when I was a mere adorable, cuddly little nine month old puppy, my horrible stupid mummy thought it would be fun to dress me up. So she went to the stores and grabbed me … this. Made with Love – Desserts!

Mummy brought home some leftover dog-friendly food from a work shoot today.  And with some tips from Auntie Gwen, Mummy decided to spice it up for us! Using just some greek yoghurt, Mummy turned the leftovers into a yummy Greek Yoghurt Sweet potato, apple dessert, with cranberry toppings. Looking good! As usual, I wasn’t too pleased with the long photo-taking. #attitudesam And boy, it sure was delicious!  This is the best kind of food. Not only does it taste yummy, it is actually healthy! Yoghurt is actually good for our little tummies while cranberries are beneficial for our urinary tracts. #winwinsituation # We were rather disappointed after licking our bowls sparkling clean to learn that Mummy wasn’t gonna give us second helpings. WHY~~~~ And even our best begging faces failed to work their magic. On a good note, Mummy did cut up the leftovers of the leftovers, place them into several ice cube trays, pour yoghurt to fill them up and send them to freeze in the freezer.  For a rainy day she says. #PUI …

The JRTS go hiking!

Mummy took an insane leap of faith and gamble and brought Pecan ah ma along for her very first Jack Russell Mania outing to the Green Corridor. Yap, you didn’t hear me wrong.  We actually brought the crazy smelly old lady to an outing with many other dogs. Not just other dogs, but fellow Jack Russells! It’s like crazy meet crazy. Of course, there were initial doubts if it was too much for her to handle.  But after some consideration, our parents decided to take the plunge and went right for it. Well, there was always Plan B if it didn’t work out – go back home.  (Shhh, lazy Daddy was secretly rooting for that lor) #mydaddysucks And guess what, Ah ma did beautifully.  In fact, she was perfect. She walked and walked and walked, alongside many others.  I swear I saw tears in Mummy’s eyes.  #yayayayaIexaggeratela But nonetheless, Mummy was damn proud of Pecan. Time flies and the Mid-Autumn Festival is back again! Wheeeeeee….. And the most important thing for this festival is of course… MOONCAKES! Knowing how much I enjoyed my mooncakes last year, Mummy decided to get me some again! Plus, we wanted Pecan ah ma to try it too. We were rather spoilt for choices as there were multiple online dog bakeries that were selling them!  But to give support and thank Auntie Crsytle for feeding our tiny tummies with tons of treats (check out our review here to find out what we stuffed ourselves silly with), we went with… *drum rolls* FEED MY PAWS MOONCAKES!! With so many yummy favorites to choose from, Mummy decided to go ahead and order the pack of SIX. It includes a mixture of savory [Beefy Cheese & Porky Cheese] and snowskin moon cakes [Durian Diva, Berry Bumbum & Pinky-Taro]. Don’t they just look so good? [Disclaimer: the following blog entry contains some of the most unflattering shots of me.] There’s an awesome group for Jack Russells in Singapore called Jack Russell Mania.  In fact, Mummy and myself are Facebook members of the group for quite a while now.  JRTs FTW! Anyway, JRM had a booth at Serangoon CC over the weekend. So, Mummy swung by to show her support as well as to purchase a couple of shirts just for Pecan ah ma and myself. Looks great?? Well, the tricky part was… it comes in just two sizes – S and M.  Mummy went ahead to purchase one of each size. I mean, sounds right since I’m about a size bigger than ah ma. Sam’s Pick: A Dog’s Life Salon

Dearest Mummy took an off day on a lovely weekday last week.  And we were overjoyed to be able to sleep in on a Tuesday and were anticipating that we would be going somewhere fun with Mummy for the entire day. Just when we couldn’t wait to find out what’s up next, we sensed that something was not right as Mummy wouldn’t stop making us pose in various positions. (And that felt awfully familiar) And that rang a bell…. *den den den den* Nooooooooooo~ Yap, we were 101% right. Mummy has a bimonthly deadline at work: which means that she is a walking dead for about a week every two months.  (Yap, that also means we are stuck with Daddy while Mummy works late. No likey~) I always thought that she was slogging her arse off at work creating great works (with us as inspiration) like this. Until I borrowed her phone to look through her photos on a whim and saw this….
