We got busy with Mummy’s newest toy… a dehydrator! To be exact, it’s a Rommelsacher Automatic Dehydrator. This isn’t our first dehydrator. We used to have one that Mummy brought back from the states. Too bad for us, it gave way while it was chucked away in storage during our move. So, that gave Mummy a new reason to go shopping. #mouldyliao #mummyjustwantedareasontobuyanicerone There really isn’t many options for affordable dehydrators locally. Many of the meat dehydrators range in the high $700s.  #cannotaffordlor On the other hand, way cheaper ones are available on online stores. However, they don’t come with warranty and that kinda worries Mummy a little. I turned SIX – my second celebration!

And my celebration continues. This time, with the second most important *cough* lady *cough* in my life. #ohmancannotbelieveIhadtosaythat For starters, we turned up for my party dressed to the nines in our new Crew La La collars. Mummy is damn ridiculous la.  When she was shopping for the collars, she was worried that the bows would get lost in our shaggy coats. Hence she decided to opt for the bigger design. Well done lor.  #nowwelookstupid #thebowisasbigasmyface Oh well, at least you can’t miss it for now. Thankfully, the bows are detachable. #phew For once, Mummy really planned ahead for my birthday this year.  #sheusuallyisverylastminuteone She actually ordered personalised bunting just for us since October last year. #wahsotouchedleh This is from ms.emmeline.pets. Yap, in case you’re wondering, Mummy’s shopping spree hasn’t quite ended. #poordaddy But on a good note, it is getting less costly. #andsowethinkla This is our ‘feel sorry’ for Daddy’s face. #nolorthisisourboreduntilcollectcowebsface Mummy was introduced to Fiverr by a friend who’s owns a startup and was looking for affordable design options. It’s actually a website that offers services and tasks with a starting price of just USD5! Pet-friendly: Everything with Fries

If you’re a long time reader cum fan of *ahem* yours truly, you would’ve noticed that since Pecan ah ma joined our family we have ceased our pet-friendly cafe outings. #thickskinsam #scarlygotnolongtimereaderstheninoface #donttellme It is because Pecan has a bit of a barrier frustration.  Which means she has the tendency to react by barking and lunging when she is unable to interact with the object of interest (be it another dog or human). This happens especially when she is on leash. Hence, alfresco dining where dogs will be tied to the table (as opposed to a pet cafe where we will be off-leashed) ain’t exactly suitable for dogs like her. #sotroublesomecan  We’ve been working on her barrier frustration and are really pleased with her progress. #shegotbetterbutigotworse #shemusthavespreadittome Despite that, Mummy is still rather hesitant to bring us to pet-friendly cafes… That was until they walked passed… Everything with Fries at Holland Village. We’re dying from the heat. #whysohot #twodeaddogslyingonthefloor After seeing how lethargic we are, she decided to whip up some smoothie! #mummyisdabest #weapprove #tonguesofapproval Our dog-friendly Mango-Strawberry Smoothie! Here’s what we need: One whole mango (cut into cubes and toss the pit away) A box of strawberry (Freeze it overnight to make the smoothie ice-cold when served) A cup of plain yoghurt One teaspoon of honey (optional, especially if your mango isn’t ripe enough) Did you know? Mangoes are actually good for dogs (source)! So our fish craving is back and we just couldn’t resist checking our Fuzzyard pet fish, Sushi, out.  Not in a good way in case you’re wondering. #nowondermummynowanttogetusapethamster #nopetissafeinthishousehold Of course, Sushi was pretty much sweating it out. #hownottopanicwhenyouhavetwohungrydogsstaringatyou And as usual, our dearest Mummy came to his (and our tummies’) rescue by announcing that she has delectable fish treats for us. We’re very honoured to be invited to participate in Woof-a-thon, the first pet walkathon organised by Singapore Heart Foundation! When: Sunday, 12 April 2015 Time: 4pm to 7pm Where: Bishan Park, Grand Lawn 1 (Opposite Dog Run Area) We all know exercising is great for our health. So why not make it fun by doing it with our pets. This is exactly what this event is about! We got Mail – from Chewtime!

It’s not everyday that something interesting comes through the mailbox. It’s usually bills after bills or flyers after flyers of property that my parents cannot afford. #ineedricherparents Oh, and of course the occasional summons (hehehehehe…). Yawn~ But today, there was special something.  There was a postage for…. me and Pecan ah ma! Wheeeeeee~~ We did a quick sniff test to decipher the package. #placeyourbets We couldn’t quite guess what it was. So, it was just another boring weekend afternoon for us….when Mummy got all cheery and started saying that she has something just for us! Of course, we jumped up from our lazing position and got all excited… Wheeee….  Fingers crossed that it’s gonna be yummy treats for our little bellies… Chants: “FOOD..FOOD..FOOD..FOOD” Mummy took out a box and started fumbling around, trying to set something up. Maybe it’s gonna be something pretty awesome and delicious.. And so we thought. When we were finally introduced to the item, our jaws dropped in disappointment.
