It’s time for something we anticipate weekly… Our weekly brush! It usually starts out with a round of furminator, which me and Pecan ah ma HATE! Mummy has to wrestle us to get that done, hence no pics, We dislike it as it can get a little pricky when she combs us. But Mummy’s a fan as it is really effective in removing stray hair. Thankfully, the second part of our weekly groom is wayy more bearable. Actually, it’s even kinda enjoyable! Using a pin brush, Mummy tries to neaten our coat and scratch any other stray hair left behind. It really feels darn good! As if we were having a good belly scratch! If you’re wondering if Jack Russells shed. Yes, we do. In fact, we shed a new dog everyday. There was so much hair that it could be rolled into a fur ball! Maybe we should do something with that hair.  Like weave it into a toy? We were brainstorming for some cool ideas. Of course, as usual, Mummy has other plans. …

Remember Smiggle, the American Cocker Spaniel who had a crush on me? I was actually invited to her birthday present last weekend. #cannothelpthatIampopular Hee, her party was held at Paw Pet-radise as well.  Although it was held at the same venue, I was really impressed that her buffet spread of dog goodies was different from that of Cole’s.  Plus, I love how nice the presentation is. My only complaint – the yummy food was placed too high on a wall-table. Like that how I reach?! In the end, I had to rely on Mummy to get food for me. Likewise, the humans were stealing food meant for the dogs!! I saw Mummy and her group of friends going for second, third and even fourth servings of the fruits that were meant for us! PUI how can?! Craftholic bunny!

Mummy and Daddy went shopping for a birthday presents today and along the way, they also stopped by Craftholic to buy each of our four cousins a small stuffy each. While looking around, one of the bunnies caught Mummy’s eye and she thought that it would suit Pecan perfectly! So she attempted to convince Daddy. Of course, his first reaction was ‘No’. Typical~ But after some persuasion, Daddy gave it and bought something for all the little girls in his life! Our newest toy – An Instax Share Printer!

So Mummy had her eyes on an Instax Share printer for a long loooong while. The only thing was that it was a little costly. And when she finally couldn’t take it anymore, she sent Daddy the link and requested for him to buy it for her as a gift. And that almost THREE weeks ago. Everyday for three weeks, Mummy would come home expecting a parcel for her.  But it never came. Why? Cos Daddy kept forgetting. Mummy would always end up disappointed and proceed to nag Daddy to buy it soon. Tsk tsk tsk “Daddy, how can like that?” *Disapproving looks* And when Mummy surprised Daddy with a PS4, he must have felt like shit and quickly got around to buying the printer. (See la~ Guilty then buy. PUI~) Within two days, the printer arrived! As usual, we were pretty excited whenever there’s a box! Can’t wait to find out what’s in it. Freezy Pups!

Auntie Charmaine went on a holiday to Hong Kong and came back with a gift just for Pecan ah ma and myself! THANK YOU AUNTIE CHAR! We were super excited when we got our paws on it!  It’s Freezy Pups! She’s really generous as well. She could’ve just gotten us the tray and the four sample packs. But she was such a darling and actually bought us not one, not two, but FOUR boxes of refill packs. *Wriggly dance* I HEART YOU MY MIL. Oh, ah ma says she loves you too. Happy dogs waiting for yummy and cooling treats! We were spoilt for choice as the starter kit came with four different flavors! Picking one wasn’t difficult. I simply chose my favorite color – Orange (chicken soup recipe)! It is so fuss-free that we could’ve done it without Mummy!  Simply dissolve the entire packet in hot water and we were done! Daddy’s new toy

Mummy had to work late and tasked Daddy to watch over us for the evening.  However, stupid Daddy actually ditched us at Grandmummy’s and by the time Mummy came home, she was rather pissed to find us missing. Yap, there was no welcome dance from me and Pecan. Booooooo~ To make things worse for Daddy, Mummy actually bought him a big pressie. So when he saw the present, he let out an apologetic and sheepish smile. Stupid Daddy. Just to make sure that we didn’t miss out on the surprise, Daddy actually waited for us to return home to unveil the present. We were elated to see such a huge box! “Is it a box full of treats?!?” Daddy: “It’s not edible! And it’s mine!” Huh? For once, the exciting item that came through our door wasn’t for us. Mummy showed me a picture of my best bud, Jäger and I was in awe! He looked so fierce! Rawrrrrrrrrrr No wonder he can scare off his brother (Snowy, the goldie) easily. I wanna be like him!! Maybe this way I can stop being a wuss and finally scare Pecan ah ma off. (She’s the Empress Dowager of the household btw. Yap, in other words, she wears the pants.) #mylifesucks So I started practising, hard.  Here’s my best attempt! Mummy couldn’t stop laughing when I showed her my ‘mean’ face.  In fact, she kept calling me a “Gu Niang“ So horrible. I think I look quite vicious ma. But as usual, Pecan ah ma agrees with her.  She just wouldn’t give a damn about me and my ‘fierceness’ and simply walked away when I confronted her. #whyyounogivemeface Oh well, guess I just have to work harder.  Grrrrr

It’s a pity weekends are so short. But just having two days isn’t going to stop us from having a fulfilling weekend! We started our Saturday at Grandmummy’s! Unfortunately, we also started on the wrong foot and got punished for being mischievous.  #notmyfault Wonder why?  Pecan ah ma was barking at the neighbor who just came home and I decided to join her on her rant.  Like that also got punished. Pui~ Thankfully, Mummy let us off after a quick lecture! Wheeee~ Pecan ah ma attempting to score brownie points by acting cute. As for me, I vented my anger (for being maligned) on Angry Bird! (which also happened to be ah ma’s favorite toy) Ho ho ho… When all was forgiven and forgotten, our parents whipped us away and brought us for a swim! Pity we got caught in the rain doing so. #soakedchicken It started raining cats and dogs and our parents had no choice but to end our weekly highlight earlier. When my parents moved to NYC, Mummy told Daddy that she wanted a dog. Without any hesitation, Daddy said yes. So here I am. When we moved back to Singapore, Mummy told Daddy that she wanted a SECOND dog. (So demanding hor~) Daddy said no for a while before he saw Pecan ah ma’s photo. Then he said yes, reluctantly. So here’s ah ma. After we got ah ma, Mummy told Daddy she wanted a cat.  (She is totally pushing her luck) Daddy said no. After a while, he remained a firm no. Of course Mummy didn’t give up. And when Auntie Charmaine rescued a little ginger kitty (lil’ Weasley), Mummy thought that it was time to try again using a different approach. This time, she needed me on her side.  So, on a fateful afternoon, she brought me to meet Weasley. A sweetheart he is, but an angel I am not. I adore public holidays that fall on weekdays. It’s like this lovely little treat for me and Pecan ah ma! Being the crazy obsessed dog parent Mummy is, of course most of such special occasions are devoted to the two adorable pooches. (Our resigned Daddy has no choice but to abide to Mummy’s demands) Wahahahhah! #myparentsaredogslaves So, I pretty much spent most of Good Friday (that was last week btw) getting quality massages from Daddy! A clearly satisfied customer. While Pecan ah ma spent her morning tormenting our new toy. Geesh, she looked so pleased with herself! Of course, we also took some time off to wish one of our favorite persons in the world… A VERY HAPPY Nth BIRTHDAY! We love you, GodMummy!!! Why can’t every Friday be a good friday? Boooo~
