While we may not be the most sociable (or friendly) of dogs, we are very lucky to have been invited to many dog birthday parties. #thankyoufortoleratingus Each time, Mummy will flip the house upside down to find a post-it note or any decent card she can get her hands on at the last minute to scribble a well-wishes note to the birthday pooch. #soinsincerela #tsktsktsk That got her thinking.. why not create our very own personalised note card to thank our friends for inviting us! #shejustneedanexcusetoshoponlinela #poordaddy So she went on one of her favourite platforms – Fiverr to find an artist to translate her vision into actual note cards! Mummy always wanted a space to put all our barang barang and she even tried to incorporate it in our Senja flat previously. But since we only did a partial reno when we moved back from the states, there wasn’t much she could do at that time. #messieristheinthinghor #wegottoomanythingsla #notourfaulthor Hence, this was one thing she was very particular about when renovating the new place. It’s been a while since we shared photos of us having fun outdoors. So she decided to bring her camera along on our day out at Tanjong beach. Wheeeeee…. It’s a small doggie party! Yap, Juosta and Maneul from the Wooga gang came along too! #actuallyistheyinviteusone Oh and we met Li Bai the Spitz. #hisnamecrackedmummyup “Mummy, I hope you remember to bring my toy.” #addictedtorescuemissions Of course she did! Wondering where my usual helpless Monkey is? Well, Mummy, being the cheapo and lazy person she is, is against bringing the monkey to the beach. It’s too expensive to be swept away (when I give up) she says. Like how she treats Monkey, I don’t get to see or play with the donut toy else where. This way, it keeps the toy really exciting to fetch when I’m at the beach. Our home – work in progress!

So, we finally got the keys to our new place in February this year and reno works started in March. Welcome to our new un-done place! #payusintreatstoenter We’re really excited to move in. Come on, just look at our new improved view. How can you not be excited? #countingcarswillbemypasttimesoon Now staying at home won’t be as boring as it used to be! As our new apartment is a resale unit, there is a substantial amount of renovation works that needed to be done. Ageing ah ma

As much as we would like to maintain that Pecan is forever young, we have to acknowledge that ah ma is indeed, ageing. #dengdengdengdeng #yalafinallyadmitsheisOLD Maybe not her craziness spirit, but her body. We started noticing that Pecan was shaking and trembling randomly at times over the last couple of days and that got Mummy worried. So off to the vet she went. And we came back with a diagnosis that Pecan ah ma is… Arthritic. #seelatoldyousheisoldliao #sosadhor #nowIamabitworried While this (relatively) genki ah ma is probably not quite close to going six-feet-under (fingers crossed!), her body is struggling to keep up. #ahmacannotbelieveiteither There isn’t much we can do right now except to manage her condition. On a good note, her pain episodes were not extremely frequent and her mobility isn’t too affected as of now. Yap, in case you’re wondering, Mummy’s shopping spree hasn’t quite ended. #poordaddy But on a good note, it is getting less costly. #andsowethinkla This is our ‘feel sorry’ for Daddy’s face. #nolorthisisourboreduntilcollectcowebsface Mummy was introduced to Fiverr by a friend who’s owns a startup and was looking for affordable design options. It’s actually a website that offers services and tasks with a starting price of just USD5! And boy oh boy, Mummy was hooked instantly.  Mummy’s addiction to illustrations isn’t something new. #aiyasheisaddictedtoallthingsdogrelatedla But honestly, most illustrations do not come cheap.  It’s no wonder Mummy was over the moon when she saw what Fiverr had to offer. #shehappydaddynohappy Mummy’s latest purchase: Kawaii Sam and Pecan! We already warned you that Mummy is on a shopping spree this month. For Christmas she said. (Remember?) So after pampering herself with the Torus bowl, she coerced Daddy into getting her a Petzi Treat Cam. To check on us while she is at work she said. #morelikesatisfyherstalkingtendencies #poordaddyburnanotherholeinhispocket And without even waiting for Christmas, impatient Mummy got around to unwrapping her ‘present’. Tsk tsk tsk. Besides the Petzi camera, an extra simple instruction sheet (a bit too simple to be honest) and two packets of Milk-Bone treats for starters are also included! #sonicegiveustreats #welikeitalready Pecan ah ma thinks that she’s cuter than the Beagle. #nocomments The design of the Petzi is extremely simple and great for tech idiots like Mummy. All you have to do is remove the cover and pour treats into the hole. #pourMOREleh  The plug is an US two-headed plug, so an adapter is required.  Simply plug it in and follow the instructions for setup. Our family photoshoot

While our parents ain’t really the phototaking/selfie kinda people, Mummy insists on a family photoshoot tradition.  This means that with the addition of a new family member, there must be a photoshoot. When our parents got hitched, they did one. When they got the absolutely adorable world cutest me, we did one in NYC. So now that we’ve ah ma, it’s time for yet another one. #musthurrydobeforeahmaXXX #choy Mummy and Daddy hired Uncle Terry from One Eye Click for their pre-wedding and actual day shoot. She was so pleased with the experience that she knew instantly that she wanted Terry to photograph our future milestones.  In fact, she was super tempted to fly him to NYC for our shoot there. Of course stingy Daddy put a stop to it. #mustprotecthisownpocketma Instead, Mummy found an amazing photographer, Auntie Melissa to do it. Barking Good: Pee-Can-Bites

Anyway, some of you may know that our dearest Pecan ah ma went for a dental scaling recently.  We knew that Pecan ah ma’s scaling was due. But Mummy was rather hesitant as she really did not want to put Pecan under anaesthesia if possible. However, after consulting with as many as four different vets, Mummy got the consensus that the procedure was a necessity. Oh well~  So in ah ma went. (And out went $1.2k from Daddy’s pocket!) Pecan isn’t the most cooperative pooch at the vet (she’s a pain like me!).  #likebrotherlikesister #cannotletthevetbullyuslor So during the initial consultation, Mummy was told that at least three teeth needed to be extracted. There might be more, just that the vet couldn’t tell as of then. But what Mummy didn’t expect was that these many teeth had to go…. YAP, they all belonged to Pecan. #toothfairyisgonnabebroke In case you’re wondering how many came out….
