While Mummy was doing her Christmas shopping, she came across something that she thought was extremely apt for ah ma. And when she showed Daddy, he gave out a loud laugh and agreed to pay for it. Here’s Pecan ah ma’s second X’mas present. A Baby Gap Bib to catch her stinky drool. Sam’s welcomed: Pet-friendly Ah B Cafe

After months and months of anticipation, the Ah B Cafe is finally opened! Woohoo~ If you’re wondering what it is, it’s actually a pet-friendly cafe that is located in Sunny Heights (where we swim every weekend).  As happy as we are, I think Mummy’s more excited. After all, there’s finally a nice place for her and Daddy to have brunch at before being dragged to the pool by us. The decor of the place is really simple and clean and we took to it immediately. Mummy’s really pleased that it’s extremely spacious too.  Although the washroom is outside, the cafe has a sink areas for the humans to wash their hands, making it really convenient. We quickly made ourselves at home. Besides the usual table and chairs, there’s a separate (shoes off) seating area that consists of comfy beanbags!  We even managed to fit into one. #Iamstuck #Iknowwhatyouarethinkingmummybutwedonotneedabeanbagathome Unfortunately, the food menu is kinda limiting and there weren’t many options. Merry X’mas to us!

If I can have it my way…  This would be how I wanna spend my X’mas – Eating snow. Okay, I admit, and also peeing on it.  Nothing satisfies me as much as creating a yellow piece of art on a white canvas. Dog-friendly Staycation at Conrad!

Edited: Unfortunately, Conrad is no longer dog-friendly wef 1 August 2017. We’re heartbroken that we have one less staycation option, but at least we had a great time there.  Thanks again to all the Conrad staff that made our stay so memorable.  After having a blast at last year’s Capella Staycation, Mummy decided to make a dog-friendly staycation a yearly affair at the Loo Lim Household! woohoo~ #scored #thankgoodnessmummywearsthepantsinthishousehold #luckystingydaddyhasnosay As much as we would love to head back to the heavenly Capella, they do have a one-dog only policy (boo~) and we really don’t want to resort to smuggling Pecan ah ma in. So, it was just another boring weekend afternoon for us….when Mummy got all cheery and started saying that she has something just for us! Of course, we jumped up from our lazing position and got all excited… Wheeee….  Fingers crossed that it’s gonna be yummy treats for our little bellies… Chants: “FOOD..FOOD..FOOD..FOOD” Mummy took out a box and started fumbling around, trying to set something up. Maybe it’s gonna be something pretty awesome and delicious.. And so we thought. When we were finally introduced to the item, our jaws dropped in disappointment. And her excuse?  Her recent addiction to the Korean Drama Master’s Sun.  For the past two weeks, Mummy has selected to abandon everything and sit right in front of the TV for one straight hour.  Yap, that means, no blogging, no photo editing..  NOTHING. It has been a year since…..

this smelly mouth, terror, senile ah ma, Pecan came into my life… And there’s not a day that goes by where I do not ask myself this question. But the truth is… she’s here to stay. FOR A WHILE. #FML #whyamIstuckwithacrazyahma Although this genki ah ma has slowly crawled her way into the ‘supposed’ senior years, (She’s Eleven btw) she’s still as active and happy as a young puppy. #actyoung As embarrassing as it may sound, I’ve to admit that there are many a time where I could hardly keep up with her.  When we first took Pecan home last year, we were given only two items – a bed and a toy.  Unfortunately, both items smelt as bad (if not worse) than her breath at that time. #ahmahadkillerbreath #shecouldmakeyoufaintamileaway #thankgoodnessthosedaysarehistory Hence, when Mummy became fairly confident that she had adapted to our home a couple of weeks later, she tossed those items away. Those know me personally will agree that I am rather smart. Ho ho ho ho… #inotstupid On one hand, I would like to say it’s nature and genetics (but again, Ah ma kinda proved that wrong). On the other, it’s nurture.  Since I was a pup, Mummy has always challenged me to an array of dog IQ toys, and may I say, I got pretty good at them. #bhb #samwinspawsdown On the other hand, Pecan ah ma is stupid a little dense and doesn’t take too well to IQ toys. Halloween @ Pawlicious Bakery!

I admit. I’ve a slight phobia of Halloween. Whenever I hear that the day is approaching, I pee a little in my (invisible) pants. And the reason is totally man-made. You see, on my very first Halloween, when I was a mere adorable, cuddly little nine month old puppy, my horrible stupid mummy thought it would be fun to dress me up. So she went to the stores and grabbed me … this. Made with Love – Desserts!

Mummy brought home some leftover dog-friendly food from a work shoot today.  And with some tips from Auntie Gwen, Mummy decided to spice it up for us! Using just some greek yoghurt, Mummy turned the leftovers into a yummy Greek Yoghurt Sweet potato, apple dessert, with cranberry toppings. Looking good! As usual, I wasn’t too pleased with the long photo-taking. #attitudesam And boy, it sure was delicious!  This is the best kind of food. Not only does it taste yummy, it is actually healthy! Yoghurt is actually good for our little tummies while cranberries are beneficial for our urinary tracts. #winwinsituation # We were rather disappointed after licking our bowls sparkling clean to learn that Mummy wasn’t gonna give us second helpings. WHY~~~~ And even our best begging faces failed to work their magic. On a good note, Mummy did cut up the leftovers of the leftovers, place them into several ice cube trays, pour yoghurt to fill them up and send them to freeze in the freezer.  For a rainy day she says. #PUI …
