A special gift for Pecan…

While Mummy was doing her Christmas shopping, she came across something that she thought was extremely apt for ah ma. And when she showed Daddy, he gave out a loud laugh and agreed to pay for it. Here’s Pecan ah ma’s second X’mas present. A Baby Gap Bib to catch her stinky drool. Sam’s welcomed: Pet-friendly Ah B Cafe

After months and months of anticipation, the Ah B Cafe is finally opened! Woohoo~ If you’re wondering what it is, it’s actually a pet-friendly cafe that is located in Sunny Heights (where we swim every weekend).  As happy as we are, I think Mummy’s more excited. After all, there’s finally a nice place for her and Daddy to have brunch at before being dragged to the pool by us. The decor of the place is really simple and clean and we took to it immediately. Mummy’s really pleased that it’s extremely spacious too.  Although the washroom is outside, the cafe has a sink areas for the humans to wash their hands, making it really convenient. We quickly made ourselves at home. Besides the usual table and chairs, there’s a separate (shoes off) seating area that consists of comfy beanbags!  We even managed to fit into one. #Iamstuck #Iknowwhatyouarethinkingmummybutwedonotneedabeanbagathome Unfortunately, the food menu is kinda limiting and there weren’t many options. Merry X’mas to us!

If I can have it my way…  This would be how I wanna spend my X’mas – Eating snow. Okay, I admit, and also peeing on it.  Nothing satisfies me as much as creating a yellow piece of art on a white canvas. Dog-friendly Staycation at Conrad!

Edited: Unfortunately, Conrad is no longer dog-friendly wef 1 August 2017. We’re heartbroken that we have one less staycation option, but at least we had a great time there.  Thanks again to all the Conrad staff that made our stay so memorable.  After having a blast at last year’s Capella Staycation, Mummy decided to make a dog-friendly staycation a yearly affair at the Loo Lim Household! woohoo~ #scored #thankgoodnessmummywearsthepantsinthishousehold #luckystingydaddyhasnosay As much as we would love to head back to the heavenly Capella, they do have a one-dog only policy (boo~) and we really don’t want to resort to smuggling Pecan ah ma in. (Especially since we ain’t the quietest dogs around when there’s a pool involved)  Hehehe.  Instead, we decided to head to a hotel that allows two dogs.  Unfortunately, we really don’t have many options.  In fact, there’s only two in Singapore – Hilton Singapore and Conrad Centennial Singapore. It’s a JerHigh Party~

The awesome people from Charoen Pokphand INtertrade Singapore, the local importer of JerHigh, dropped us an email asking us if we would like to sample some treats.  Of course, we couldn’t (and wouldn’t) say no.  #wewillneversaynototreats And viola~ they actually delivered, not one, but two awesome JerHigh treat hampers to us.  One for me and one for Pecan ah ma.  Oh boy, Christmas sure came early this year!  Wheeeeeeee~ Actually, this isn’t my first time trying out JerHigh treats. The last time Mummy scooted off to Bangkok without me, she came back with tons of JerHigh treats (fresh from the BKK supermarkets) to seek forgiveness.  And of course, with my little tummy satisfied, I quickly let the fact (that she abandoned me to go on a vacay) go. So, it was just another boring weekend afternoon for us….when Mummy got all cheery and started saying that she has something just for us! Of course, we jumped up from our lazing position and got all excited… Wheeee….  Fingers crossed that it’s gonna be yummy treats for our little bellies… Chants: “FOOD..FOOD..FOOD..FOOD” Mummy took out a box and started fumbling around, trying to set something up. Maybe it’s gonna be something pretty awesome and delicious.. And so we thought. When we were finally introduced to the item, our jaws dropped in disappointment. The sole culprit behind the recent lack of post.. is none other than our… LAZY MUMMY! And her excuse?  Her recent addiction to the Korean Drama Master’s Sun.  For the past two weeks, Mummy has selected to abandon everything and sit right in front of the TV for one straight hour.  Yap, that means, no blogging, no photo editing..  NOTHING. It has been a year since…..

this smelly mouth, terror, senile ah ma, Pecan came into my life… And there’s not a day that goes by where I do not ask myself this question. But the truth is… she’s here to stay. FOR A WHILE. #FML #whyamIstuckwithacrazyahma Although this genki ah ma has slowly crawled her way into the ‘supposed’ senior years, (She’s Eleven btw) she’s still as active and happy as a young puppy. #actyoung As embarrassing as it may sound, I’ve to admit that there are many a time where I could hardly keep up with her.  When we first took Pecan home last year, we were given only two items – a bed and a toy.  Unfortunately, both items smelt as bad (if not worse) than her breath at that time. #ahmahadkillerbreath #shecouldmakeyoufaintamileaway #thankgoodnessthosedaysarehistory Hence, when Mummy became fairly confident that she had adapted to our home a couple of weeks later, she tossed those items away. Those know me personally will agree that I am rather smart. Ho ho ho ho… #inotstupid On one hand, I would like to say it’s nature and genetics (but again, Ah ma kinda proved that wrong).
