Our very own event – A White Christmas Party
MERRY CHRISTMAS! Mummy is getting a tad bored of our boring grey wall and how it’s showing in our photos. To spruce our shots up, she decided to get crafty! #wethinkshehastoomuchtimeonherhands A quick trip to Art Friend and she was ready to get crafting. #wecanhelpbutyoumustpayintreats #mummycannotsaynotothesefacesone A couple of hours in… and wala~ #howcomeitlookslikeprimaryschoolkidswork To be honest, while Mummy is quite fond of scrapbooking and stuff, she really isn’t the most artistic person around. #notevenclosecan So to be safe, she got tree and cloud templates off the internet. And since our printer is kaput, she had to use baking sheet to trace them out before drawing them onto coloured paper. #cheapoislikethatone #havetoimprovise Presenting our new backdrop! Mummy’s tip: Use Blue-tac to secure the items to the background. This will allow you to shift the trees and clouds around as you deem fit. Halloween is right around the corner and we’re looking forward to our party! Pecan’s birthday present – Furry Photos shoot
You may have been wondering why Pecan didn’t have a birthday present reveal like we usually do. Notecards from Sam and Pecan!
While we may not be the most sociable (or friendly) of dogs, we are very lucky to have been invited to many dog birthday parties. #thankyoufortoleratingus Each time, Mummy will flip the house upside down to find a post-it note or any decent card she can get her hands on at the last minute to scribble a well-wishes note to the birthday pooch. #soinsincerela #tsktsktsk That got her thinking.. why not create our very own personalised note card to thank our friends for inviting us! #shejustneedanexcusetoshoponlinela #poordaddy So she went on one of her favourite platforms – Fiverr to find an artist to translate her vision into actual note cards! DIY TIME: Pill Pockets
I came down with a small bout of infection on my front paws. (No thanks to my itchy mouth) #cannotstoplicking A quick visit to the worst place on Earth vet and here we are, a grumpy-emo dog who is pouting about the meds he has to eat and a gloating ah ma. #howcomeIneedsomuchmedsone #canPecaneatthemonmybehalf Medication time is a TORTURE. Both to me and Mummy. Mummy: “Come Sam, time for your meds.” Nope. Not happening. At all. #sheiscrazytothinkIwilleatthemedsjustlikethatlor #eventhegreedyahmaalsowon’tfallforit #sheseemenoup There are a few ways to get those disgusting pills down my throat. For the morning dose, Mummy will painstakingly cut the meds into small sizes and hide them in my food. #sometimesIfallforthis #sometimesIdon’t However, I get fed only once a day. Needless to say, the evening dose is wayyy trickier. She will either shove it down (I HATE MUMMY), or dissolve it into a liquid and feed me using a syringe. DIY time: Dog-friendly Peanut Butter!
Mummy has wayyyy too much time on her hands these days. So, she decided to DIY more items for us! #heywearenotcomplaining Pecan’s wondering what’s on the menu today. #ahmathephotobomber Sniffing out the ingredients as we make a wild guess. #aiyathetitlealreadygivetheanswerawayliao Yaps, we’re making Dog-friendly Peanut Butter today! Yums! Mummy used to give us store-bought peanut butter. However, it can get a bit tricky choosing the right one as many of them contain unhealthy preservatives (especially xylitol) that can be harmful to dogs. So what’s the best solution for someone who has too much time on her hands – DO IT YOURSELF! #ourtummiesagreefully “Can we apply it to our favourite donut toy too?” #pecan’sstupidityisrubbingoffme #thisisaBADsign Mummy found a recipe online and modified it a tad. She added our favourite coconut oil to boost the taste and of course, for added benefits too. #ourtummiesagreeagain The process is as straightforward as it looks.
