Fiesta Island, San Diego

If there is a doggy heaven, I’m pretty sure this is how it looks/feels like.  Yes, this is the BEST place on earth. This is Fiesta Island, San Diego, where dogs run free, unleashed. This lovely peninsular island is just beyond amazing. Not only is there plenty of land for me to roam, the water is calm and there’s no nasty waves that might scare the hell out of me. Period.  There’s a specific fenced in ‘dog park’ for dogs that ain’t as good off leash (aka me). However, the area isn’t fully enclosed and there are openings at each end of the beach. My off-leash track record have been pretty horrid, thus explaining the long tail (leash) that I was tagging along. But nothing is gonna stop me when I’m having fun! The place is crazy huge. After an hour of fun, splash and hike, we barely even covered one tenth of the fenced in dog park. Look how huge the fenced in dog park is! Did I mention that there were plenty of …

It’s Hollywood~

I’m at Hollywood BABY!  Since I haven’t had my breakout role in hollywood yet, thus do not qualify having my name down on the walk of fame, the best I could do was to take photos with stars that share my name. We found Sammy Kaye. (I’ve NO idea who he is..) And Forest Whitaker. (I actually recognize this actor!) My parents got tired and couldn’t be bothered to look for “Loo” or “Lim”, but again, I doubt that they would be able to find any.  Last but not least, I had my own taste of the red carpet. (Where are my fans though?) Sigh, leaving Hollywood was bittersweet. Where’s the agent that’s supposed to spot me and make me the next superstar (to replace Uggie?!)? I’m disappointed. Sucks to have to leave empty-handed.  Better luck next time!

It’s (almost) summer…

The weather in NYC has been AMAZING for the past two days. And whenever the weather is good, mummy would drag my little arse out of the house to my favorite place on earth – yap, Central Park it is.  And yes, I’m a happy little man! Mummy told me a funny little joke that made me chuckle. Yap, That’s life – spending a wonderful afternoon at my favorite place with my favorite person. I’m loving it!

Spring time..

Spring is my favorite season. While I’m a huge fan of the snow, the wicked cold is sometimes a little too unbearable. And mummy putting on a fleece jacket on me just makes it even worse.  Anyway, with Spring comes nice long walks to Central Park, possibly my favorite place on earth. Tons of green, squirrels and people who adore me.  What more could I ask for? Here’s one Sammy’s little best-kept secret: Mummy and I found a nice little spot in Central Park called the Ramble. It’s pretty much a wild garden and gives a sense of hiking in the woods. While dogs are not allowed off leash in that particular area, it doesn’t affect me a bit, since I’m horrid off leash anyway (yeah yeah, off I go) and mummy uses a retractable leash that gives me 5ft tons of freedom. The best part of the ramble is this little stream of water that runs through it. I love getting my little paws muddy wet there (certainly cools me down when it gets …

Road Trip to Pennsylvania

Mummy and Daddy decided to bring me for a road trip to Philadelphia and State College over the weekend. (Okay, more like Mummy and I chose to tag along with Daddy for his worktrip!) Not exactly the most exciting of places, but I guess it wasn’t too bad. Especially since there were plenty of grass patches for me to roam/pee/poop (oops) on. The UPenn campus is actually really pretty and has a nice colonial look to it. (Mummy kept saying that it reminds her of hogwarts.) My favourite part of the campus – the tons of fat nice squirrels that caught my eye. No thanks to stupid mummy who kept pulling me back, I’m pretty sure I would have caught at least a couple! DANG it! One of the highlights of the trip was the hotel. Thanks to well-travelled Daddy’s starwoods privileges, we were upgraded into a suite at the Sheraton hotel and there were plenty of space for me to roam around! The king size bed was awesome and finally, I don’t have to fight …
