Sam the pendant..

Mummy got a custom pet portrait (Original Watercolor hand painted) necklace pendant made on etsy. While the final product is on the way in the mail, the artist sent us a preview photo. Ain’t I just cute beyond words? Judging from mummy’s smile, I guess she agrees and she’s absolutely loving it!

Family day out…

My family spent the weekend at Washington DC. The original itinerary was to join the Cesar Milan Pack Walk, but since my brilliant parents overslept, we decided to head to an outdoor flea market instead (Officially Mummy’s newest hobby).  We headed to Eastern Market  to spend our lovely saturday afternoon. It was really nice out, but the sun was a tad bit bright that I couldn’t stop squinting my little eyes. We did some shopping at the Capitol Hill Flea Market.  (Hee, surprisingly shopaholic mummy left empty handed while stingy thrifty daddy bought a couple of cigar boxes.) Mummy’s failed attempt at an artistic shot. Just chilling out while daddy was shopping for his stuff.  Met some new friends. Hee, I’m generally a submissive dog and would roll over for most dogs. The owner of the other dog was so impressed with me that he commented that I was a really good dog and that the world needs more dogs like me! *GRINZ* From the corner of my eye, I could see mummy scoffing away though.  …

Mummy’s impulse purchases..

But hey, I’m not complaining.  Anyway, remember my bed within a bed?  It has deflated over time. 0_0 It was on a random night when she was working on the computer and I was just lazing around on my bed beside her to realize my sufferings. When she gave me a quick glance to check on me, she suddenly realized that I looked like an unloved child (T_T), sleeping on a flat bed that was possibly giving me back ache (okay, I exaggerate). Mummy felt sooo bad that I had been sleeping on a real deflated bed that she decided to buy me a new bed.  Ho ho ho.. *Wriggly dance* Here’s a little proof of how flat the bed has become. (featuring my bro, Keyser!) So she went on a bed shopping spree and found THE bed on Fab.com.  No prizes for the color she chose (with Daddy’s approval of course)… ORANGE! After a 3 weeks wait, my new bed is finally here!! Oops..  I’m just testing the bed out. Look how fluffy and …

Sam the little packer…

In preparation for our big move, daddy ordered some boxes to get mummy started with packing. (Mummy is a MAJOR procrastinator.)  Well, i decided to do my little part and volunteered my help with packing, my way.  Peek-a-boo.. I started by checking out the box, making sure that it was sturdy enough. Checked.  Then I proceeded to see if the box was big enough to store mummy’s countless rubbish things. Checked.  Next, I tested if the box was comfy enough. Checked.  Lastly, I grabbed my little pillow and got ready to sleep…work. Well.. guess not.

Dog Shaming..

Someone shared a link on facebook and got mummy interested. The link leads to a blog called Dogshaming which collates photos of dogs ‘admitting’ to their bad habits / behavior / secrets, pretty much just for laugh.  (How mean~ at our expenses..) Yeah, I’m sure that teaches us a lesson. The blog is really entertaining and mummy couldn’t stop laughing at the photos she saw. And I think she came to realise that I’m actually not that terrible a dog. LOL, I seriously pale in comparison to the rest of the dogs. But I am no angel (*grinz). Not surprising, mummy got motivated to ‘shame’ me and started thinking about my one big mischief. So, here goes… “I scratch the door (in protest) when my parents abandon me alone at home” Oooh ooh… check out my achievement damage on the door. Mummy wanted a guilty look so that I will appear that I’m repentant.  But the truth is… I’m actually quite proud of my achievement!! *HUGE GRIN* Hence the shots below are more realistic representation of …

Bookworm Sam…

Chloe’s mummy gave me a pressie today.  It’s a Bedtime Book for Dogs by Bruce Littlefield! It’s a book for mummy to read to me before bedtime!  What a great bonding experience! This awesome little book is about a dog who decided to explore his usual activities without his favorite companion as he didn’t want to wait, only to realise that it wasn’t at all fun without a good friend along. The book has words that dogs (ME ME ME!) understand and a story line that kids (both 2 and 4 legged) would love.  Hee, since I’m so smart, I decided to read the book myself. Spying on mummy who’s disturbing spying on me. After a good 10 minutes, I finally finished reading! And guess what, I flipped the book down and pointed at something I wanted. I stared hard at it, hoping mummy gets my hint. (which of course she did! Nom Nom Nom~) Another cute touch of the book is illustrated portrait of various cute doggies on the first and last pages.. and …
